Thought I’d post a sketchy little preview of how our little scientist’s room is coming along. She’s pretty messy on the surface, but it’s also a bit of an image to keep her mom from finding her journals and experiments. She’s messily organized.

And of course, what’s a young scientist without her chemistry set and journal. Another thing she loves doing is writing - not just science journals but creative little stories too. I may include a sheet from her journal of her little doodles as well. She labels her lockboxes with “top secret” and “keep out” because her mom is forever curious of what she’s working on next.

For La’s concept, I’ve imagined it as a short animation promo for a made-up headphone brand. Much like the more conceptual commercials you sometimes see for cars or jewelry. Here, I’ve laid out what her headphones would look like and how they function.

Some prop designs for Bee, whom I finally gave a permanent name! She is now Beeyōna. I imagined these props as the type of objects you’d find in her car or bag. Like I mentioned in her character traits, she’s super terrified of bugs.
