So I’ve re-approached this concept rather differently. There’ll be some different sketches coming shortly. It hit me about a week ago to do a card-themed casino to each deck. This is just a start of the spades concept.

Here’s a compilation of exploration sketches for the train station to La’s character. I did my best to pay attention to the shape character more so on this as I want it to be much like promotional material related to the music industry.
